Pro MX
Ryan Orizino broke into the win column this year when he defeated Tim Diglio in the Pro MX final. Ryan held a modest .073 to .096 reaction time advantage over Tim and drove to a winning 5.868 at 115.15 mph pass on his 5.78 dial-in to take the win light. Tim pressed to hard trying to hold off Ryan's charge and broke out with a -.077-under, 7.623 at 97.23 mph pass on his 7.70 dial.
Last week's Pro MX winner Bob Salerno lost a close race to Ryan in the semis, while Brandon MacCombie fouled out in his match against Tim to end his day.
Street Money
2022 saw Pat Minogue dial-in his race program which scored him the Street Trophy championship title. Pat is carrying that momentum over into the Street Money battles this season and scored the Money final win over David Gwin. Dave gave up the win on the line with a -.039 foul start, and drove a 7.867 at 86.29 mph on his 7.80 dial-in and settled for the runner-up finish. Pat dialed up a 9.25 for his Caprice and drove it out to a 9.293 at 76.66 mph to make it official.
In the semis, Pat stopped A.Hall, while Dave had the solo run into the finals.
Modified
Dave Miller made it 2-straight Modified wins when he stopped Craig Trudell with his dead-on 9.940 at 133.45 mph pass. Dave held a comfortable .096 to .163 reaction time advantage and hammered-down to the win. Craig dialed his '84 Mustang in at a 10.35, but dipped -.071 under with a 10.279 at 130.04 mph trying to win the stripe.
In the semis, Jim Pipines gave away a final round appearance when he stayed into the throttle and broke out in his '22 Tesla S-Plaid, while Craig experienced issues running a 16.76 on his 10.26 dial-in. Dave drew the bye run into the finals.
Street Trophy
Pat Minogue and Tim Patterson had identical .095 reactions, but the win light glowed in Pat's lane based on his .010-over, 14.260 at 97.70 mph pass on his 14.25 dial. Tim dialed his Mustang in at a 12.98, but his off-pace.13.043 at 107.16 mph pass bounced him to the runner-up finish.
In semifinal action, Pat stopped Kim Rossiter, while Tim ended David Gwin's day in their showdown match.
Bike/Sled Trophy
Kevin Wuest and Vern Schmidt have been swapping round wins over each other between Pro MX and Trophy this season, but it was Kevin scoring his second-straight Trophy win. Vern held a solid .013 to .044 reaction time advantage over the 19 time track champion, but his '86 Yamaha Radian fell off his 13.97 dial-in to a 14.171 at 93.67mph. This allowed Kevin's potent Polaris to streak past for a 9.812 at 120.81 mph win on his 9.76 dial.
In the semis, Tim Diglio fouled out against Vern, while Ed Wilson fell to Kevin to set up the finals.
