Ron LaRose scored the first American Muscle Stick Series event of the season defeating Don Meile. The Port-A-Tree "Real Red" feature decided the win as Ron's -.002 red light was closest to green over Don's -.038 foul start. Don dialed in at 6.81 and drove to a -.026-under, 6.784 at 100.42 mph in his runner-up dash.

Ron dialed his Nova in at a 5.82 and to to a 5.962 at 116.82 mph to score the win.

In semifinal action, Jacob Bombard held a slim ..023 to .025 reaction time advantage over Ron, but Ron's .004-over, 5.854 was enough to take the win to advance to the final. Don drew the bye-run into the final.

Second Chance Race

Racers losing in the first or second round of the main event had the opportunity to buy into the 2nd Chance event which saw Tim LaRose defeat Larry Carasea for the 2nd chance pursse. No race information was available at time of publication.
