ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip has been providing an exciting and safe venue for New York speed demons under the sanctioning banner of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) since 1960.
Eight classes of competition for racers of various skills and income, to compete for cash and trophy prizes, and points towards season championship titles.
2025 Summit Racing E.T. Point Season Begins
Sunday, May 25 we will be launching our 65th season of NHRA sanctioned drag racing at Central New York's Playground of Power! A full card of E.T. Series classes with be vying for valuable series points towards class championship titles at season's end. Just a few changes to the E.T. Series classes for 2025: The Bike/Sled Trophy class has been eliminated. Motorcycles and sleds can also enter Super Pro, Pro and Modified Trophy classes as long as they adhere to class rules (electronics, delay boxes etc.) Pro MX is still a full, Pro class as it is a Bracket Finals division. 2025 Racing Schedule Posted
The tentative schedule for the 2025 racing season has been posted.
Summit Racing E.T. Series is the premier weekly series featuring eight different classes to fill any racing experience and budget. Points are earned for every round raced, culminating in season track champion titles. Returning in 2025 is the American Muscle Stick Series presented by All Car Care of Cicero, a five race series featuring American brand, stick shift automobiles. The Pro/Money classes, Super Pro, Pro, Pro MX and Street Money, have one day carved out of the schedule where Top Payouts are paid regardless of entry count. Two Small Tire Outlaw races return to schedule, plus Memorial races: Meeks Family Memorial, Ralph Conte Mopar Memorial and the Tommy and Joi Ingalls Memorial events. Lastly, Sampson No-Prep and Sweet Tango No-Prep are inked into the 2025 race offering. As always, the schedule is subject to change, so follow us on our Facebook for any last-minute changes.​
