Classes & Payouts

Summit Racing E.T. Racing Series is open to all weekly E.T. class racers wishing to compete for season class champion titles. In order to accrue points for each round, racers must be signed up prior to competition. Fees do apply.

Prize money payouts do not require E.T. Series point registration.

Expanded Pro Rules:

Pro will be a NO-Delay Device class. Electronic ignition and trans-brakes are permitted. 4-wheel line-locs will be accepted, but wiring must be direct and traceable. Nitrous must be activated by driver switch or wide open throttle switch, single-stage only, no timers. Electronics expressly forbidden, but not limited to: electronic throttle stops and delay devices.

Full bodied cars & trucks permitted. Off center roadsters permitted with steering in stock location. No Altereds or Dragsters allowed to compete.

All chassis, roll bar/cage, driveline components, shields as defined by E.T./MPH performance and detailed in 2021 NHRA rulebook, as well as driver safety gear must be in place.

PRO MX: Open to all motorcycles & snowmobiles running 7.50 -15.99 1/4-mile E.T.s. Delay devices will be allowed. Other electronic devices acceptable per 2021 NHRA rulebook.

Expanded Pro Class Rules

Pro & Pro MX 

Expanded Street Money Rules:

Street Money is a NO electronics class. Electronic ignition and single-stage (High Side) rev-limiters will be accepted. Non-drive wheel line-locs will be accepted, but wiring must be direct and traceable. Nitrous must be activated by driver switch or wide open throttle switch, single-stage only, no timers. Electronics expressly forbidden, but not limited to: data recorders, trans brakes, electronic/automated shifters other than factory, two-steps, electronic throttle stops, and delay devices. Reverse Transmission solenoid may be only operated by a switch affixed to the shifter, such as back up light switch.

The car or truck must be equipped with full fenders, grill, hood and functional mufflers.

Modified Trophy: Open to all Modified Cars, Dragsters, Altereds utilizing Super Pro class rules.

Street Trophy: Open to all cars, trucks, running 11.50 -19.99 1/4-mile E.T.s. The vehicle must be street registered, stock appearing with D.O.T. tires and mufflers. Same electronics rules as Pro. All safety rules as per 2021 NHRA rulebook apply.

Bike/Sled Trophy: Open to all motorcycles and snowmobiles wishing to run for trophies. Same rules as Pro MX. 

(Buy-backs not permitted in Trophy classes)

Each first round winner receives a trophy & Class Winner decal and a chance to advance through rounds to win Final Class Eliminator Trophy.

Open to competitors ages 8 to 17. Winner & Runner-up receive trophies, plus cash payout with a minimum 16 car field. All safety rules as per 2021 NHRA rulebook apply.

Time Trial/Testing Class

Entry Fee: $55.00

Plus a refundable $100.00 Oil Down deposit. Time trial class runs will be intermittently inserted between time trial & elimination rounds. ALL vehicles and drivers must have all NHRA Safety features in place as per 2021 rulebook.
