Super Pro

Tim Roberts broke the point lead tie with Iggy Falcone when he went wire-to-wire to win the Super Pro final over Zach Beasaw. Zach grabbed the early lead at the start with a .019 to .035, reaction advantage, but fell off his 7.41 dial-in with a 7.438 at 87.38 mph and was nipped at the finish line by .002 of second! Tim dialed his dragster in at a 4.80 flat, and drove to a winning, 4.810 at 138.78 mph to notch in the win light.

In the semis, Tim and Scott Drake squared off with both drivers hitting identical .017 reactions. Tim advanced to the final with a .006-under,4.804, while Scott dipped further under with a 6.049 on his 6.06 dial-in. Zach had the solo shot and made a full power pass to set up his final round prediction.

Jake Lipke scored his second-straight Pro win when he stopped Chris Corlyon in the Pro final. Jake's .019 to .040 reaction time advantage enabled him to catch Chris at the finish line and post a 5.775 at 119.93 mph pass on his 5.76 dial-in to seal in his win. Chris posted a 6.16 on his window, but was only able to squeeze out a 6.190 at 107.18 mph pass and had to settle for the runner up finish.

Semifinal action saw Chris lock horns with last week's semifinalist, Brandon Cole. Both racers dialed in at a 6.17, but Chris' decisive reaction time advantage pushed Brandon into a breakout run to set up his final round match against Jake who drew the bye-run into the final.

Pro MX

Pro MX

Kevin Wuest scored his second Pro MX win of the season when he won a double breakout final against Haley Feher. Kevin grabbed a slight, .022 to .059 reaction time advantage over Haley which was to enough to force her into breaking out by .004 more than Kevin's .002-under, winning run. Dialing in at a 5.91, Kevin rode his Polaris XCR to a 5.909 at 114.04 mph, while Haley was slightly quicker with a .006-under, 5.524 at 125.05 mph run on her 5.53 dial-in.

In the semifinal round Haley squared off against her best guy, Kevin Sutliffe and advanced to the final on the strength of her .078 to .095 holeshot. Kevin drew the bye run into the final.

Normally, with a 7.35 dial-in engraved into his Duster's window, Rick Vose changed things up and penciled in a 7.43 dial-in for Sunday's final against Pat Minogue driving his equally-consistent Caprice cruiser. The win was all on the line as Pat couldn't overcome a .103 to .049 reaction deficit, allowing Rick to lift early for a 7.472 at 86.26 mph winning pass. Pat was a little closer to his 9.36 dial, but his 9.398 at 76.82 mph pass was not enough to hold off Rick's charge.

The semifinals, Pat held a razor-slim, .002 reaction time advantage over Todd Lipke and held on for the win to advance to the final against Rick, who drew the semi bye-run.

Modified

Modified

It was the battle between the '84 S-10 pickups again with Dave Miller and Jeremy Wise squaring off in the Modified final. Jeremy had the head start and grabbed an early, .044 to .080 reaction advantage, but he stayed in the gas .005 too long and broke out more and handed Dave the win. Dave dialed in at a 6.40 and pushed his ride to a .024-under, 6.376 at 105.99 mph and scored the white time slip and win. Jeremy dialed in at an 8-flat and drove to a 7.971 at 82.76 mph and had to settle for the runner-up finish.

Semifinal action saw Dan Hanley bow out to Dave via a breakout pass, while the second pairing watched Jeremy score a red light win over Bernie Wise to set the stage for the Modified final.

Street Trophy

Street Trophy

Grant Johnson must have had the Red Hot Chili Peppers playing "Give it away now" on his radio in his Street Trophy loss to Pat Minogue as he had a massive, .029 to .224 reaction time to play with. Instead, Grant powered it through his 10.26 dial-in and broke out with a 10.228 at 64.18 mph and handed Pat the Trophy "Grammy." Pat broke out as well, but his -.003 under, 9.377 at 77.02 mph was less offensive and he was awarded the win.

In the semifinals, Grant squared off against Tim Patterson and got the win when Tim just tipped over into the red zone with a -.009 foul start. Pat had the solo shot in the other semi run and used it for practice and cut a -.001 red light start and harmlessly advanced into the final round.

Junior Dragster

The Musolino boys were at it again with Sal again getting the win light over big brother Vincenzo. Vin held the reaction time lead with a .123 to .248 advantage, but missed his 12.12 dial-in with a 12.729 at 48.37 mph pass, clearly getting out of the throttle too early. Sal dialed in at a 14.20 and drove to a winning,14.458 at 43.42 mph to hold on to the bragging rights for the second straight week.

American Muscle Stick Series

Four rounds were needed to decide the winner of the All Car Care of Cicero, American Muscle Stick Series final and it was Tim LaRose scoring a red light win over Dan Meile. Dan dialed in at a 6.87, but was too quick on the trigger and bulbed out with a -.017 red light start and drove to a 6.884 at 100.24 mph.

Tim dialed his Nova in at a 5.79 and cut a near-perfect, .002 reaction to start off his winning, 5.808 at 118.96 mph gold ticket run.

In the semis, Dan was .009 on the green side of the tree against Doral Short who ventured over to the -.018 red side of Go. Tim drew the bye run and chose to make a full power pass to a .003-over, 5.793 at 119.33 mph to prepare for his final assault.

King of the Track

The annual Summit Racing/NHRA King of the Track event pits the current division leaders for the "There can only be one" showdown shootout. Our 2025 King is none other than the Pro MX reigning champion Kevin Sutliffe who defeated Super Pro rep, Tim Roberts.

Round one saw Tim knock out Trophy rep, Pat Minogue; Kevin then parked the Modified entry of Jeremy Wise and Pro division racer Jake Lipke knock out the Street Money Freight Train of Rick Vose.

In the semis, Jake gave away a .004 to .067 reaction time lead over Kevin and broke out by a heart-breaking .007, while Tim had the solo into the final.

The final saw Kevin grab a .027 to .047 R.T. lead and hold on for the win with a 5.514 on his 5.51 dial-in, while Tim broke out of his 4.80 dial with a 4.790.

Small Tire Outlaws

Not much to report for the Small Tire Outlaw final as Mark Town had a solo pass as his opponent, Dave Crossman was unable to make a run. No info as to why to report. Mark did post a 5.140 at 138.920 mph to make the win official.

Derek Beauregard had a .005 reaction lead over Dave in the semis, but Dave powered through to the win with a 4.849 at 153.65 mph to Derek's 5.172 at 118.50 mph run. Mark had a solo run.
