Super Pro
Joey Rolfe, had to settle for the runner-up finish in last week's Super Pro final, but he put that in the rear view and marched through the eliminations and came out Top Dog over Tom Doig and his potent Mopar. Joey won both ends of the track grabbing a .008 to .024 reaction time lead and drove his slamming, '69 Nova to a .013-over, 5.733 at 116.87 mph on his 5.72 dial-in to seal the win. Tom dialed his Dart in at a slightly quicker 5.43, but could only squeeze out a 5.517 at 124.27 mph pass and settled for the runner-up finish.
The semifinal action, Tom advanced to the final when Steve Marshall Jr. pushed the tree too hard and fouled out, setting up the final pairing. Joey had the solo run and took advantage of a free pass and nailed the tree with a .003 light!

Pro
Kevin Sutliffe had his Hayabusa absolutely dialed in and scored the Pro win over Dave Tingley when he nailed his 5.56 dial with a "dead-on" 5.560 at 123.79 mph pass. That, E.T. coupled with a .027 to .035 reaction time, forced Dave into a no-win scenario and he broke out of his 6.54 dial-in with a 6.537 at 104.00 mph for the runner-up finish. Kevin rode to .004-over runs in Rds 3 & 4, .002-over in his semifinal win over Todd Minerd and the dead-on pass in the finals! In the other semifinal pairing, Dave trailered Reid Ricketson with a .024 to .103 R.T. holeshot for an off the throttle win.

Pro MX
Just a matter of time before Kevin Wuest checked into the Pro MX "W" column and he did so on Sunday when he knocked out Brandon MacCombie on the strength of a .062 to .206 reaction advantage. Won't speculate on what happened to Brandon on the line, but he made it interesting with his .001-over, 5.991 at 119.55 mph pass, but it wasn't enough to close the R.T. gap. Kevin dialed his Polaris XCR in at a 6.03 and ran an easy 6.069 at 103.55 mph to secure the win.
In the semis, Kevin advanced when Kevin Sutliffe had a razor-thin, -.002 foul start, and Brandon parked Ryan Orizino winning both ends of the track.

Street Money
It was a common pairing of Street Division rivals Pat Minogue and Tim Patterson in the Street Money "main event" and it was a doozy! Tim held a decent .137 to .153 reaction time advantage, but went .001 too quick and handed the double breakout win to Pat and his Caprice. Pat dialed in a 9.45 and drove to a 9.449 at 76.04 mph for a -.001-under pass, while Tim went -.002-under with a 8.588 at 81.50 mph on his 8.59 dial-in.
In semifinal action, Pat stopped Wayne Eiss with a stout .015 package, and Tim scored a red light win over Grant Johnson in their match to set up the Street finale.

Modified
Short Modified class on Sunday and all the action was in the second round as a -.008 foul start by Brandon Smith in the final gave the win to Steve Marshall Jr. Dialing in at a 6.55, Brandon abandoned the run after seeing red, while Steve ran an off the throttle, 6.517 at 95.39 mph pass on his 6.33 dial for the win.
In the semis, Steve matched up against defending champion Dave Miller and took the win light, while Brandon squared off against Dan Hanley and got the win on the strength of his .023 to .072 reaction advantage to set up the final round.

Street Trophy
Grant Johnson continued his hot run when he defeated Tim Patterson in the Street Trophy final. Grant grabbed an early lead with a .060 to .091 reaction time cushion, then ran an outstanding, 10.434 at 60.05 mph on his10.43 dial-in to score the win. Tim pushed his Mustang into a breakout, 8.576 at 81.03 mph pass on his 8.61 dial-in in his effort to close the R.T. gap and settled for the runner-up finish.
In the semis, Tim topped his nemesis Pat Minogue grabbing a solid reaction time cushion for the win. Grant drew the bye-run for his final round warm up.
