Super Pro
We got down to the final pairing of racers in the $2,000 to Win Affordable Floors Super Pro Jackpot event before the rain ended the day. The first competitor was Shaun Bradwell who defeated Iggy Falcone in the semis. Iggy had a .05 head start when he dialed his '65 Pontiac GTO in at a 6.53. Iggy held a solid .080 to .169 reaction time advantage over Shaun, but drove to a too-quick, 6.506 at 105.14 mph and broke out handing Shaun the win. Shaun dialed in at a 6.48 and ran a solid 6.489 at 104.66 mph to secure the win light and advance to the final.
In the other semifinal pairing, the "Stinger," Steve Doss parked Gene Stankivitz in a near dead-heat final with both racers posting .040-over packages! Steve dialed his '93 Mustang in at a 6.23 and launched first with a .022 to .028 reaction time advantage over Gene and his 2002 Ed Quay dragster. Steve drove to a winning, 6.248 at 108.11 mph, while Gene posted a 4.882 at 130.85 mph on his 4.87 dial-in and had to settle for the runner-up finish.
Before Steve and Shaun could take the line, the rains came in and they split the pot. Thanks to Mike Halsey of Affordable Floors and Blinds for sponsoring this event.

Pro
In the second portion of the Affordable Floors Jackpot event, we made it through 4 rounds before we had to put a fork in it. Three racers remained before it was called. In the first quarterfinal match, Rick Vose stopped A.J. Meier when his .063 to .109 reaction advantage pushed A.J. into a breakout pass. Rick dialed up a 7.40 and drove to a winning 7.406 at 91.96 mph pass, while A.J. dialed his '69 Chevy in at a 6.40, but drove to a 6.373 at 105.21 mph breakout run.
In the second heat, Jeremy Wise laid a perfect .000 reaction time on Jake Lipke and ran an outstanding, 8.099 at 82.09 mph run on his 8.09 dial to advance. Jake dialed his '82 Cutlass in at a 5.73 and drove to a 5.757 at 118.77 mph to end his day.
In the final pairing, Chuck White held a healthy .024 to .195 reaction advantage over Todd Minerd and cruised to the win with a 6.735 at 93.49 mph on his 6.49 dial-in. Todd fell off his 7.35 dial and could only muster a 7.556 at 96.08 mph for the runner-up finish.
Again, thanks to Mike at Affordable Floors for sponsoring this event.

Pro MX
Now that Pro MX racers can compete in the Pro and Super Pro classes in 2025, they can now take 2 cracks at winning some cash payouts for the season. Many racers did just that and went rounds. But for this recap, it was Brandon MacCombie scoring the breakout win over Kevin Sutliffe for the Pro MX final win. Brandon dialed in at a 5.94 and gave up a little at the tree with Kevin getting a .023 to .069 lead, but Brandon streaked to a .006-over, 5.946 at 120.62 mph to lock in the win light. Kevin did everything right with the exception of being .002 too quick at the finish with a -.002-under, 5.488 at 124.85 mph pass on his 5.49 dial-in and had to settle for the runner-up finish.
In the semifinals, Brandon squared off against Haley Feher and scored the win when Haley went -.009 red at the line. Brandon dialed in at 5.95 and posted a 5.941 at 121.32 mph. Haley dialed in at a 5.53 and logged a 5.562 at 125.65 mph in the loss.
Street Money
Grant Johnson scored the Street Money win over Todd Lipke when Todd pushed his '70 Chevelle SS a little too quick and relinquished his .049 to .071 reaction time advantage. Grant dialed his '74 Pontiac in at a 10.38 and stayed on the green side of the timeslip with a 10.410 at 64.41 mph to lock in the win. Todd dialed in at a 7.35, but took too much win stripe and posted a .026-under, 7.324 at 82.23 mph and had to settle for the runner-up money.
In semifinal action, Grant held a slight .022 to .061 reaction advantage over Jace Hubbard and drove to a solid, .009-over, 10.389 at 64.29 mph to advance to the finals. Jace pushed his 2015 Honda to a .042-under,10.218 at 72.32 mph to end his day. In the other semifinal pairing, Todd scored the win over a red-lighting Pat Minogue and his '11 Chevy Caprice. Todd had a free pass to dial in for the final and pushed his Chevelle to a 7.275 on his 7.35 dial-in to set up the final showdown.
Modified
Tom Fortino drove his '69 Chevy to the Modified win over Jeremy Wise. Jeremy held a substantial .006 to .095 reaction time lead, but blasted his 8.15 dial-in with an 8.090 at 82.30 mph pass and had to settle for the runner-up finish. Tom dialed in at a 6.53 and drove to an outstanding, 6.534 at 108.33 mph to capture the white time slip.
In the semifinals, Jeremy nailed the tree again with a .008 reaction and scored the double breakout win over Ron Bixby. Jeremy dialed in at an 8.16 and drove to a .001-under, 8.159 at 82.65 mph, but Ron's 6.663 at 102.90 mph pass on his 6.72 dial was worse and moved Jeremy on the final round against Tom who drew the semifinal bye-run.
Street Trophy
Pat Minogue scored the Street Trophy win when Steve Fortino fouled out with a -.020 reaction time. Pat dialed his Caprice in at a 9.40 and drove to a solid 9.408 at 76.63 mph for the win. Steve was dialed over 2 seconds quicker at a 7.18 and posted a 7.382 at 98.44 mph in his runner-up effort.
In the semifinals, Steve won both ends of the track over Kim Rossiter and her '69 Malibu. Steve held a solid .166 to .307 reaction lead and drove to a 7.308 on his 7.18 dial, while Kim drove a 10.288 on her 10.05 dial-in

The afternoon rain also blocked the final round of the American Muscle Stick Series that paired Jacob Bombard against Mike LaRose. Jacob trailered Dave Tingley in the first round, then ended Larry Carasea's bid in round 2, from which he drew the semifinal bye-run into finals.
On the other side of the ladder, Mike stopped Ed Neimeier in the first round, had the round 2 bye-run, then squared off against Dan Meile in the semis. In that race, Mike held a .031 to .069 reaction advantage over Dan, and carded a 5.980 at 108.82 mph on his 5.89 dial-in to advance to the finals. Dan dialed in at a 6.88, but was only able to push out a 6.940 at 100.23 mph and had to settle for the semifinal finish.
We'd like thank Vicki and Dave Bombard of All Car Care of Cicero for again promoting this division of racing in 2025.
