ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip has been providing an exciting and safe venue for New York speed demons under the sanctioning banner of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) since 1960.
Eight classes of competition for racers of various skills and income, to compete for cash and trophy prizes, and points towards season championship titles.
Sponsor & Contingency Programs Ramp Up
The 2026 racing season is really shaping up to taking major steps forward. "Super G" Gary Simons has stepped up to take the reins of track manager, while Lance Duell is staying on in a supporting role to help grow racer numbers, cultivate new sponsors and work toward capital improvements to the facility.
New to 2026 is scoreboard sponsorships from Bear Service Automotive (Mike Anderson) and Auto Care at Split Rock (Bill BeDell). Mike and Bill's commitment aren't limited to sign sponsorships alone. They are both providing support to numerous ESTA events to help draw in new racers to the ESTA facility. Phil Burkart of Burkart Automotive in Yorkville, NY is stepping up by establishing a contingency program for the Pro and Super Pro divisions. Contingency awards to the finalists of each of these classes with help increase the rewards for racers on a weekly basis. Additional contingency sponsorships are being finalized before the new season launches. Max's Print Shop of Marcy, NY is building a contingency program for racers as well as providing merchandising for the track to have on sale.
WEBSITE: Updates to the class structure page has been posted, while the 2026 schedule and background images are in the works. A new sponsor page is being developed in order to provide a direct portal to these valued businesses. Monday Night Cruise Night Announced
We are pleased to announce that our inaugural Monday night car cruise will take place at the ESTA Safety Park dragstrip. In an effort to minimize conflicts, we have scheduled this event on a Monday, thereby avoiding any potential overlap with other weekly events. We cordially invite you to join us on Monday, June 1st, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The evening will feature door prizes, 50/50 raffles, as well as food and beverages available for purchase. We aim to make this the beginning of a successful and enjoyable series. Please disseminate this information widely and encourage others to attend.
