Super Pro Winner Joey Rolfe

Defending Super Pro Champion Joey Rolfe scored the Super Pro eliminator win over Jeff Griffo with a tight, .010 margin of victory. Joey took a slight, .004 to .007 reaction time advantage, and punched out a .015-over, 5.615 at 118.28 mph pass to score the win light and the current points lead. Jeff dialed in at a 6.41 and ran a solid 6.432 at 103.94 mph, but it wasn't enough to hold off the champ's charge and settled for the runner-up finish.

In the semifinals, Joey advanced when Iggy Falcone went red on the tree, and Jeff won a razor-thin battle against Steve Doss in the second semi match. Jeff had to overcome a .001 to .016 reaction deficit and ran a .001-over, 6.421 to score the win with a tight .002 m.o.v.

Pro Winner Mike LaRose

Pro

 

Mike LaRose won both ends of the track to score the Pro win over Ra'ChaCha racer Chuck White. Mike held a healthy .006 to .051 reaction advantage over Chuck and powered his deadly Dodge to a .015-over, 6.385 at 100.29 mph pass on his 6.37 dial-in to seal the win. Chuck dialed up a 6.63 on the window and drove to a 6.655 at 97.47 mph for the runner-up effort.

In the semifinals, Chuck scored a double breakout win over Jake Lipke after giving up a .011 to .023 reaction time lead to Jake. Mike drew the bye run into the final and cruised to an off-throttle pass. Chuck's runner-up finish bumped him up into the third slot in points of the young season.

Pro MX Winner Ryan Orizino

Ryan Orizino improved on his May 31 semifinal finish and scored the Pro MX win over Kevin Wuest. The race was over at the line when Kevin cut an oh-so-close, -.004 red light ending any chance for the victory. Ryan dialed in his 2001 Arctic Cat at a 5.76 and drove to a .055 initiated, 5.801 at 117.40 mph to lock in the win. Kevin ran a 6.060 at 111.69 mph on his 6.08 dial-in for the runner-up effort. Semifinal action saw Ryan square off against Haley Feher and take the win, while Kevin ended Justin Baker's day to advance to the final round showdown. With 2 point races in the books, Ryan holds a 2 point lead over Kevin for the class point chase.

Street Money Winner Rick Vose

Street Money

Same combatants with the same results as Rick Vose scored his second-straight, Street Money win over Pat Minogue when Pat fouled out with a -.019 red light. Rick dialed his Duster in at a 7.39 and got his run started off with a .075 reaction, and drove to a 7.401 at 91.53 mph pass to score the white timeslip and the win. Pat dialed in at a 9.37 and drove his Caprice to a 9.407 at 76.77 mph for the runner-up honors.

In semifinal action, Rick's .047 to .090 reaction advantage over Steve English, pushed Steve into a breakout run advancing Rick to the final round. Pat had the solo shot in the second run and drove to a 9.378 on his 9.37 dial-in.

All-Trophy

All-Trophy

Pat Minogue drove to his second-straight, All-Trophy win, this time stopping Brenda Richard in their showdown. Brenda held a large, .021 to .175 reaction lead at the start, but fell off her 7.74 dial-in with a 8.129 at 75.59 mph and had to settle for a runner-up finish. Pat dialed his Caprice in at a 9.37 and drove to a winning, 9.397 at 75.68 mph to lock in the win.

In the semifinals, Pat won both ends of the track in his win over Brandon Smith, while Brenda advanced to the final with a double red light win over Brian Mahler.

Jr. Dragster

 

Austin Abel improved on his May 31st runner-up finish when he defeated Salvatore Musolino in the Junior Dragster final. Sal had a healthy .020 to .114 reaction time lead over Austin, but stayed in the throttle too long and broke out of his 14.13 dial with a 14.028 at 46.65 mph pass. Austin dialed "Jokers Wild" in at a 7.99 and broke out a little less with a 7.910 at 81.66 mph to score the win giving him a 1 point lead in the points chase.

Semifinals saw a rematch of last week's final, this time with Austin getting the win over red lighting Vincenzo Musolino. In the second pairing, Salvatore put together a solid package to defeat Waylon Stanimer to set up his final round showdown with Austin.

Lil Gangsta 5.30 Index

 

Chris Scarlata had Jim Bersani covered on the index E.T. despite giving up a .035 to .085 reaction time lead to Jim. Chris drove his Nova to a winning, 5.338 at 129.92 mph to score the win. Jim was only able to post a 5.464 at 126.33 mph allowing Chris to drive around him for the win.

In the semifinals, Jim defeated Breanna Edwards in the first pairing, while Chris was able to dispatch Ralph Gratton in the second run to advance to the final.
