Super Pro
The Super racers came out in droves to honor passed racer Tommy Ingalls with bonus money and an NHRA Wally trophy up for grabs. Tim Roberts bought back in after a round 1 red light and made it pay off by winning the Super Pro eliminator. Ann Marie Nugent, an Empire and Lancaster regular, scored 6-straight "Ws" and held a slight .022 to .024 reaction advantage, but fell off her 5.77 dial-in with a 5.831 at 118.84 mph pass and settled for the runner-up finish. Tim dialed his '09 dragster in at a 4.84 and stopped the clocks with a 4.876 at 130.49 mph to score the win.
In semifinal action, Nick Carr fell to Tim with a red light start, while Ann Marie's .001 reaction over Grant Nichols was enough to advance to the final round.
Pro
Ryan Ricketson scored the double red light win over Dave Tingley in the Pro final. Dave's -.024 foul to Ryan's -.007 light ended his bid for the win and got out of the throttle and coasted to an 8.055 on his 6.47 dial-in. Ryan dialed his '74 Dodge Dart in at a 6.72 and cruised to a 6.874 at 83.01 mph to score the win and the Wally Trophy.
In the semis, Ryan matched up against Eric Sadoswki and won both ends of the track to advance, while Dave posted a stellar .007 package to end Reid Ricketson's bid for a family feud in the final.
Pro MX
Brian Barker had the Pro MX win sealed when Ryan Orizino launched with a -.053 red light foul, but Brian still drilled the tree with a .001 reaction and did a full pull to post a 5.769 at 115.42 mph on his 5.74 dial-in. Ryan ran it out as well and pushed his Arctic Cat to a -.003-under, 6.637 at 105.46 mph for the runner-up honors.
In the semifinals, Ron Dean held a slight .004 to .012 reaction lead over Brian, but fell off his dial-in allowing Brian to slip past at the finish. Ryan had the solo run into the finals.
Street Money
Rick Vose holds a high, batting average for final round wins over the past 4 years, but a -.020 red light start against Jon Skellham knocked that average down a couple points. Both drivers ran identical, .016-over E.T.s, but it was Jon's .086-initiated, 7.966 at 85.45 mph pass on his 7.95 dial-in that netted him the white timeslip and Wally Trophy win. Rick dialed his "deadly" Duster in at a 7.35 and drove to a 7.366 at 92.36 mph for the runner-up finish.
Pat Toomey fell to Jon in their semifinal match, while Rick drew the solo run into the finals.
Modified
Kelly Pope held a substantial .002 to .119 reaction time advantage over Ron Calhoun in the Modified final which allowed him to scrub off some E.T. at the top end to score the win. Kelly dialed in at a 7.15 and drove to a 7.203 at 93.99 mph to seal the win. Ron dialed his '67 Chevy II in at a 6.53 and drove to a -.018-under, 6.512 at 106.93 mph and settled for the runner-up finish.
In the semis, Ron and Ben Lee had to be staring straight into the sun on the line based on their less than stellar reactions, but it was Ron scoring the win light, while Kelly drew the bye run into the finals.
Street Trophy
A larger than normal Street Trophy field saw Tim Patterson score the win over Branden Wilson in the round 4 action. Branden held a modest .035 to .068 reaction time advantage over Tim, but fell off his 10.90 dial-in with an 11.142 at 64.88 mph which allowed Tim to slip past for the win. Tim dialed his Mustang in at a 8.43 and drove to a winning 8.629 at 67.95 mph for a .010 margin of victory win.

Bob dialed his turbo-charged Arctic Cat in at a 5.64 and posted a 5.568 at 122.31 mph in his runner-up effort.
In the semifinals, Bob squared off against Ed Wilson and scored the win to advance, while Brandon had a solo shot into the finals.
Junior Dragster
It was the Jr. Dragster Championship for the young racers on Sunday and saw Austin Abel continue his winning ways when he stopped Mason Spinelli in the final. Mason ran an awesome 8.008 at 82.74 mph on his 8.00 dial-in, but his .107 light to Austin's .065 was just enough to let Austin by at the stripe and seal the win. Austin dialed in the "Joker" at a 7.90 and drove to a winning 7.297 at 79.31 mph. The win put Austin into the points lead, 1 point over Vincenzo Musolino. "Cenzo's" day ended at the hands of Mason in their semifinal match, while Austin had the bye run.
American Muscle Stick Series
Dan Meile scored the red light win over Ron LaRose in the final American Muscle Stick Series event of the season. Dan dialed his '65 Mopar in at a 6.85 and drove to a .099-initiated, 6.918 at 99.40 mph to lock in the win. Ron dialed his Nova in at a 5.72 and ran a solid, 5.738 at 120.20 mph, but his -.058 foul ended any chance for the win.
In semifinal action, Ron was the beneficiary of a Jake Ciciarelli red light start and advanced to the final against Dan who had the semifinal solo pass. ESTA wishes to thank Dave and Anita Bombard for their continued support of this series.
