Super Pro

Dave Henry drove to a semifinal finish on July 21st and improved on that performance by scoring the Super Pro win when Mark Talmadge slipped under his 6.29 dial-in by a razor-thin .008 margin. Mark held a commanding .008 to .030 reaction time lead at the start, but took too much finish line and broke out with a 6.282 at 107.38 mph. Dave dialed his Undercover dragster in at a 5.18 and drove to a solid, 5.195 at 132.24 mph to secure the win.

In semifinal action, Dave laid an .008 to .097 reaction advantage over Rick Dauenhauer to advance to the finals, while Mark's dead-on 6.300 at 103.99 mph forced Chuck White into a breakout run to set up the final pairing.

Meeks Memorial Pro

Fresh off a 6 round win on Saturday to score the $2,500 first place purse in the Day 1 Meeks Memorial Pro E.T. race, he did it again! Zach Beasaw waded through another 6 rounds of tough competition and scored the Day 2 top prize with his win over Brandon Iamele. Both racers hit identical .019 reactions, but Zach's .015-over, 7.575 at 87.02 mph was enough to hold off Brandon's .036-over, 6.576 at 106.59 mph charge.

In the semis, Zach squared off against Ken Hawkins who fouled on the line, while Brandon posted a solid .019 package in his win over the bounty hunter Chuck White.

Pro MX

The Kevin Sutliffe Pro MX juggernaught ended Sunday at the hands of Haley Feher in an amazingly close race. Dialing just .06 slower than Kevin at a 5.64, Hayley cut a perfect .000 light and ran a 5.651 at 123.34 mph to score the win. Kevin had a slight opening to get the win, cutting an amazing .004 reaction, but his .006-under, 5.574 at 122.44 mph pass was just too quick and he had to settle for the runner-up finish.

In the semifinals, Hayley advanced when John Kuhfta fouled out at the start, while Kevin had a solo run into the finals. Kevin used the run to hone an already sharp starting line procedure and hit the tree with a .009 reaction!

Street Money

Rick Vose can almost phone-in the wins in his '75 Duster and scored yet another Street Money win in a double breakout final against Steve English. Multi-Champion Steve dialed his Cutlass in at an 8.15 and drove to an outstanding 8.152 at 88.14 mph, but his .098 to .032 reaction time deficit was just enough for Rick to drive around to score the win light. Rick dialed up a 7.41 on the window and posted a 7.396 at 90.91 mph for his 3rd final round win in just 2 weeks!

In the semis, Rick gave up .006 to Howard Roberts on the line, but drove to a .002-over, 7.412 for the win. In the other semi match, Grant Johnson had a heart-breaking. -.002 red light and fell to Steve's green light run.

The Modified final saw Jeremy Wise get another crack at Dave Miller and he was able to put things together to score the win. Jeremy held a modest, .066 to .092 reaction advantage over Dave and posted a solid, 8.405 at 79.39 mph pass on his 8.39 dial-in for the win. Dave made a valiant effort to overcome the gap, but his .001-under, 6.389 at 106.29 mph on his 6.39 dial wasn't going to be enough if he went .001 slower, and settled for the runner-up finish.

In the semis, Dave trailered Ron Bixby, while Jeremy outgunned Brandon Smith to advance to his rematch with Dave.

Bike/Sled Trophy

It's been years since the last time that Kevin Wuest waited until August to score his first win of the season, but he finally did it on Sunday by knocking off the current point leader Kevin Sutliffe. These two always put on a good show, but Sunday Kevin's 2018 Polaris XCR carried him to a .002-over, 6.002 at 108.01 mph to lock in win #1 for 2024. K-Sut has been deadly on the tree this season, but fell off to a .146 light to Kevin's .065 and posted a 5.884 at 114.24 mph on his 5.56 dial for the runner-up finish.

Mr. Wuest squared off against Haley Feher in the semis who ran a .004-over, 5.684 but missed the tree with an apparent mechanical issue. Mr. Sutliffe had the solo run into the finals.

Joe Hertline had .070 in the bank to work with at the finishline, .013 to .083, but overdrew his 6.15 dial-in with a 6.134 at 109.67 mph handing the win over to Howie Smith. Howie also broke out with his 7.512 at 86.80 mph on his 7.52 dial, but once the math was calculated the win light went over to his column.

In the semis, Howie advanced to the finals when Ray Grabowski pushed too hard on the line and bulbed out with a -.045 foul. Joe had the solo run and chose to make another full shot and drove to a 6.162 on his 6.15 dial-in.
