To help lower the cost of racing in the Street Money class, ESTA has adopted some new rules for the 2007 season. The car must be street appearing, full fenders, grill, hood, working headlights and tail lights, D.O.T. tires and functioning mufflers.

We will no longer require that the car have a state registration or inspection. This will save racers the expense of insurance and making their car meet the state emissions standards. Cars running in Street money must be slower than 7.00 seconds, but faster than 19.99 seconds in the quarter mile. Street Trophy class will keep the same basic rules that we have been running, state registration, state inspection, D.O.T. tires, and functioning mufflers.
