First off, i'd like to apologize to anyone i may have offended in my other post. Now back this this grudge event or events in the future, the point is it's entertaining and exciting to watch fast cars race for money! There are a lot of feud's going on up here in grudge racing, like syracuse racers against rochester & buffalo racers. And it get's heavy, bragging rights, target on whom claims to be the best or lucky that day. Also you get a wide vary of car's, from pro mods to street killers all racing for money that they bet. Cost the track barely nothing, thx's again.

Every other track upstate Ny has embraced this, and they are making lot's money doing it!! It cost you barely nothing, if anyone of you "Esta staff" would like to go to event to see what your missing out on please contact me. As a fan and racer, and life long esta participant I'm so tired of seeing the same old things at Esta year after year after year. Fans drive up to 18 or more hours away, to watch this kind of racing!!

Here is an event i just went to 5/4/13, Capital Raceway, Md.. There had to be at least 1700 people at $20 per head, 350 cars easy at $40 per car, one concession stand which was full all day long, I'd say that alone it made $17k, and they only had two car's doing exhibition passes, so you do the math "Esta" one day!! They had to clear $60-$65,000 after payout!! They paided out these classes i know, street class $300, back-half class $3,000 $100 entry fee which all the participant's paid the prize that many cars in it, bracket race $500 , still i have never witness a fight as of yet!!

We will be opening on Sat. May 25th with a time trial day and will follow that on Sunday May 26th with a no points regular event for all of our weekly classes. We will be closed on Sun. June 2nd but will be back on Sat. June 8th with another time trial day and start our Summit E.T. Points series on Sunday June 9th. Thanks in advance for being patient during our construction project and we'll see you in a few weeks.

The May DRAG meeting was held last night - thanks to all who made it out on such a beautiful evening!
We got an update from track management regarding the status of the concrete - there is a possibility we could be on it by May 19. Check back to the home page as the date gets closer for more information.

The Jr. Dragsters will be combined into one class this year, and that class may be integrated into the regular program instead of being run early. Pete will be posting more about this. If you have an opinion (regarding the Jr. Dragster program) let him know.

The other item of note was elections. We have a new President! Congrats to Theodore Lewis, who will be taking over the helm of the organization! I'll be serving as VP - Secretary and Treasurer will remain the same - many thanks to Kathy Barling and Dick Garbus for their many years of fine service!

Next meeting will be June 3, Union Hotel, 7pm. Hopefully we'll have met up at the track by then and gotten a few runs in! Hope to see you there -

I'm scheduling a work day for this Saturday morning. We'll start around 8am. I have a few jobs I need some help on, if anyone is interested in helping out.

If you can let me know in advance, it would help me out tremendously. That way I can have tools/materials coordinated.

Hope to be done by noon, so its not huge projects!
