Vince Musolino Shares Winner Circle With Daughter After Super Pro Win

Vince and Natalia Musolino Share ESTA Winner Circle

May 25 - It's always great to share the big win with friends and family in the ESTA Winner Circle photo, but this time Vince Musolino was able to celebrate his Super Pro win along with his daughter Natalie after her win in the Jr. Dragster division. Final round boxscores are listed below.

Super Pro
In Super Pro the final round came down to Vince Musolino driving his Ricelli Enterprises sponsored dragster and Bob Belvick in his own Chevy powered dragster. Both drivers had very good reaction times with Vince holding a slight .510 to .518 edge and he also nailed his 7.20 dial in with a 7.206 at 185.39 mph run for the win, while Bob ran a 7.830 at 149.92 mph on his 7.80 dial to take home the runner up honors. Ryan Koskowski and Gene Stankivitz were the semifinalists.

Bryan Backus May 25 Winner Pro

Pro
Bryan Backus has got his ’82 Cutlass running well to start the season and he won the Pro title today when he defeated Don Austin who was driving his ’93 S-10 pickup. Bryan had a .545 to .627 starting line advantage and won with a 9.001 at 139.35 mph run on his 8.98 dial, while Don ran under his 10.05 dial with a 10.009 at 132.67 mph. AJ Meier was the semifinalist.

Pro MX
Heath Smith on his ’01 Ski-Doo took the Pro MX win by defeating Sudsy Eastman on his ’00 Ski-doo. Heath got the win by running 8.787 at 144.79 mph on his 8.90 dial in, while Sudsy ran way under his 10.50 dial with a 10.076 at 115.99 mph runner up pass. Heath had the better light .512 to .548. Matt Luke was the semifinalist.

Street Money
Jim Smith drove his ’89 Sonoma to the Street Money win by stopping Tyler BeDell in his borrowed ’72 Chevelle. Both drivers missed the tree, but Jim held a .623 to .674 advantage and ran a 12.923 at 104.94 mph on his 12.87 dial, while Tyler had to settle for his second straight runner up with a 13.099 at 96.17 mph run on his 13.13 dial in. Klaus Dieroff was the semifinalist.

Modified
Myles Higby won the Modified final after his opponent Don Leppard rolled through the starting line lights and was disqualified. There were no times for either driver. Matt Spisak and Craig Trudell were the semifinalists.

Matt Consiglio May 25 Street Trophy Winner

Street Trophy
Second generation racer Matt Consiglio in his ’95 Camaro took home the Street Trophy win when he stopped Tom Fortino in his ’00 Mustang GT in the final round. The reaction times were not stellar by any means with Tom holding a .705 to .770 advantage, but Matt ran closer to his 17.20 dial in with a 17.260 at 72.03 mph run while Tom had to settle for the runner up spot with a 14.520 at 96.98 mph run on his 14.30 dial in. Pat Joyce was the semifinalist.

Bike/Sled Trophy
Bike/Sled Trophy came down to Ryan Orizino riding his ’01 Arctic Cat and David Ashby on his ’90 Kawasaki. Ryan got the win with a .584 light and by running a 9.811 at 113.42 mph on his 9.80 dial in. David was the runner up with a .577 light and he ran a 13.787 at 93.16 mph on his 13.69 dial. Matt Luke was the semifinalist.

Jr. Dragster
Natalie Musolino joined her father in the ESTA winners circle after she drove her new ’14 American Jr. Dragster to the win when she stopped Dunham Hall driving his ’13 Bos Jr. Dragster. Natalie held the reaction time advantage .530 to .611 and drove like a seasoned veteran at the stripe winning with a 9.077 at 69.67 mph run on her 8.96 dial in while Dunham ran 7.959 at 78.93 mph on his 7.90 dial for the runner up spot. Jenna Lipke was the semifinalist.
